Why does the $5 ACH cap matter for tree services?
Tree removals and large pruning jobs often run several thousand dollars. With ACH capped at $5, a homeowner can pay online from their bank account and your processing fee never exceeds $5.
Does Treelocity add any platform markup on top of Stripe’s rates?
No. You connect your own Stripe account and pay Stripe’s standard published rates (2.9% + 30¢ for cards, 0.8% capped at $5 for ACH) with zero markup from Treelocity.
Are there any fees for recording paper checks or cash payments?
Never. Recording check or cash payments in the office or field is completely free and syncs to QuickBooks Online like any other payment.
