Tree-care business software

The whole tree-care business, from the first estimate to the last invoice.

Estimates your clients approve from a text. A dispatch board and map for crews. An app that works with no signal. A record for every tree you look after. Invoices paid by card or bank from a link.

  • $99, $199 or $349 a monthPosted on the pricing page, not quoted on a call.

  • No sales call, no demoSend your first estimate the same day you sign up.

What it does

One system for the office, the crew and the client. Every step on the same records.

Estimates and options

Scope it with photos. Price it with options. Approved from the client's phone.

Build the estimate on site: line items tied to the trees they're for, photos of each one, and optional work the client can tick on or off. Text or email the link. They approve and sign on their phone, and the job is created for you.

  • Optional items show as checkboxes; the total updates as the client choosesCrew
  • Approval creates the job with the chosen scope and the signed PDF attached
  • Unapproved estimates get reminder texts or emails on your schedule, stoppable per client

Scheduling and dispatch

A day board and a map, with crews and trucks where they're going.

Drag a visit onto a day, or onto a crew. See the day as pins on the map and assign by dragging a pin. Trucks, chippers and lifts are assigned per visit, and a double-booking is blocked before it happens.

  • Assigned crews see the visit in the crew app; the client gets an automatic reminder text
  • Named crews and equipment per visitCrew
  • Route optimization reorders a crew's stops and shows the minutes saved before you applyEstablished

Offline crew app

Works with no signal. Syncs the moment the app opens.

Crews install it from the browser, no app store. Today's and tomorrow's visits, the client, the property, the trees and the forms are on the phone before they leave the yard. Every edit saves to the device first, so nothing waits on the network.

  • Pre-job safety briefing, signed on the phone, required before the first clock-inCrew
  • Photos compress on the device and upload from their own queue until confirmed
  • A visible count of changes waiting to sync, so the crew knows to open the app once they have signal

Invoicing and payments

Invoice from the finished job. Paid by card or bank from the link.

The invoice comes from the completed job, not a blank form. Clients pay by card or ACH from a text or email link, the payment marks it paid, and it shows up in QuickBooks Online without duplicates. Unpaid invoices get reminders on your schedule.

  • Card 2.9% + 30¢, ACH 0.8% capped at $5. Stripe's rates, no platform fee from Treelocity
  • Card data never touches Treelocity's servers; Stripe collects it
  • Labor, equipment and materials against the price on every jobCrew

Tree inventory and history

A record for every tree, and a history that stays with the property.

A crew drops a pin per tree and records species, DBH, height, condition and photos, offline included. Every inspection, treatment, estimate and job attaches to that tree, so the next visit starts with the whole story. Clients see their inventory in the portal.

  • Condition on one scale: Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor, Dead
  • Per-tree timeline of inspections, treatments and workEstablished
  • Areas and distances drawn on aerial imagery, saved to the estimateCrew

Plant health care and risk

Treatment programs by the season. Risk assessments a client can read.

Schedule a season of applications per tree and log product and rate on each one. Record the target, site, crown, trunk and roots, rate the chance of failure and the consequence, and send the client a branded PDF report.

  • Structured assessment: target, site and roots, trunk, crown and branches, then an overall action rating, from Monitor to Act nowEstablished
  • Recurring applications across a season, each logged with product and rateEstablished
  • A recommendation can go straight onto an estimate

Built for tree work

Not lawn software with "tree" typed into the job type.

The records are the ones an arborist keeps. The forms are the ones a crew signs. The words are the ones the trade uses.

  • 01

Species and DBH on every tree

Species, DBH in inches, height, crown, condition, a draggable map pin and photos. Not a free-text "notes" box.

  • 02

    Tree risk assessment

Target, site, trunk and crown observations, chance of failure and consequence, an overall action rating, from Monitor to Act now. Branded PDF.

  • 03

    Plant health care programs

A season of applications per tree, product and rate logged on each. Reschedule or cancel one without touching the rest.

  • 04

    Options-based proposals

Optional line items the client ticks on a phone. The total updates live and chosen items flow to the job.

  • 05

    Crews, trucks, chippers and lifts

Named crews assigned as a unit. Equipment assigned per visit; a double-booking is blocked.

  • 06

    Safety briefings before clock-in

Hazards, controls and emergency address, signed by the crew on the phone, offline, before the first timesheet entry.

  • 07

    Site measuring on aerial imagery

Draw areas and distances on satellite imagery and save them to the estimate.

  • 08

    Per-tree health history

Inspections, treatments and work on a timeline, so a tree's story is there in five years.

Switching

Bring your clients with you. Same day, not a project.

Upload the export from your current software or a spreadsheet. Map the columns once, check the preview, import. Nothing is written until you say so, and running it twice never duplicates a client.

  • JobberClient CSV export, or connect your Jobber account directly by API. Multi-file exports are joined on the client ID.
  • ArboStarExport your clients and properties, then upload.
  • ArborgoldCustomer Excel export (.xls or .xlsx) uploads as is.
  • SingleOpsRequest your client list from SingleOps support, then upload it.
  • SpreadsheetsAny CSV or Excel file with column mapping and address parsing.

Trust

Your client list is the business. It is handled that way.

  • Strict company workspace isolation

Every record is locked to your company at the database level, and role permissions are verified on every action.

  • Daily backups, tested restore

Encrypted storage, daily backups, and regular full-database restore verification.

  • Audit log of every change

Who changed what, and when, on every record. Downgrades keep higher-tier data readable; nothing is deleted.

  • Payments by Stripe

Your subscription and your clients' payments both run on Stripe. Card numbers are collected by Stripe and never touch Treelocity.

  • Reliable offline field sync

Field notes, tree updates and photos save on the phone first and sync when signal returns, while approved estimate and invoice totals stay locked.

  • Texting registered in your name

A verified toll-free number per company, registered with your business details, so carriers deliver your texts.

Common questions

Questions owners ask before signing up

Straight answers on contracts, crew phones, data ownership, imports, and payments.

Is there a contract or a setup fee?

No. Plans are monthly or annual, started from a 14-day trial with a card on file. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated; downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period. Change your card, download invoices or cancel from your account, no email required.

Do my crews need an app from the App Store?

No. The crew app installs from the browser to the home screen on iPhone and Android. On an iPhone it syncs while the app is open, so it shows a count of changes waiting and sends them as soon as it is opened with signal.

What happens to my data if I downgrade?

It stays. Records from higher-tier modules become read-only at the end of the period and are never deleted. Upgrade again and they are editable the moment the subscription changes.

Can I import from Jobber, ArboStar, Arborgold or SingleOps?

Yes, for clients and properties. Jobber, ArboStar and Arborgold customers export their own client lists; SingleOps customers request theirs from SingleOps support. Jobber accounts can also connect directly. Estimates and job history are optional and depend on what your export contains.

Who processes my clients' card and bank payments?

Stripe, through a Stripe Connect account you set up inside signup. Cards are 2.9% + 30¢ and ACH is 0.8% capped at $5, which are Stripe's published rates. Treelocity adds no platform fee at launch. Payouts go to your bank.
